A DAF means Delayed auditory feedback. A DAF produces a chorus effect on your ear. For example, your spoken words are repeated within 50ms. So you get less stuttering. Repetitions become less. The flow of speech can thus be improved. I use the current AirPods. Have a DAF app on my phone and speak. Try it.
