How to not focus on stutterering as much?

How to not focus on stutterering as much? I focus too much on it. In fact times when I don't focus on it are when I'm most fluent. I want it to be a secondary thought, not something that occupies my mind 24/7 whenever I talk to people. I want to actually be in the moment when I'm that situation rather then being anxious. Any suggestions?
