Hey I'm in college and am employed in this tech industry this summer. I know it's not medicine, but I have to go to meetings where I: explain my code, answer and ask questions, explain stuff to other people in the company etc. To be fully honest, at the end of the day the thing people care about, what you get paid for, is what you know. No one's paying you to speak well, unless maybe if your a sports broadcaster or actor.
