Having severe blocks around specific words, being able to speak when alone but not around others, avoiding talking in those situations *is basically entirely* social anxiety. I suffered through the same situation for many years. From a SLP who specializes in dysfluency and is also a PWS (and explains it all in a free podcast), I learned that by doing the opposite of what I had been doing, I can prevent my fear/blocks.
