I'm speaking quite generally, talking about my lived experience. I just don't think there will be a cure. Personally, my stutter is significant better when I'm in a more positive mental state. So keeping that mental state is the "cure". I may be wrong however, I am no neurologist. All I know is that when the negative feedback, whether internal or external, is broken, my stutter ceases to be a major factor in my life. There was times in my life when I had a more resilient mental state where my stutter seemed to effectively disappear. Now I'm in one of my down points so my stutter has come back with a vengeance, but it's all a cycle.
