My first job at 16 was working at McDonald’s. There was plenty of work to be done that did not involve a lot of speaking. I made the sandwiches in the back, cleaned, washed dishes… etc. You’ll become more comfortable with every day that passes. And then you’ll work up enough courage to work the register. The main thing to keep in mind is that you’re an asset regardless of your stutter. Any organization loves a hard worker.
