This is probably common question but I don’t feel like searching this subreddit so here it is. How tf do you say your own name? 😭 Unless I’m drunk my own name is really difficult to say and it’s an awful feeling since that’s the first impression you give to people. “Hey my name is j..j… while looking like 🤡. My dumbfounded and confused face when trying to say my name but it won’t leave my mouth till it eventually does which feels like an eternity and they laugh at me saying ha it’s like you forgot your own name💀. No sir my vocal system just isn’t nice to me. Any tips on this so I don’t feel so shy about meeting others. Also once you vocalize that you have a stutter people look at you differently. It’s like you are mentally challenged and strange. Nothing wrong with being mentally challenged of course but I am not so it’s annoying.
