Severely stuttering woman who changed Portugal’s history Hello all, If you haven’t come across this member of the Portuguese parliament, check her out. https://youtu.be/4LGQBK4pw24 https://www.efe.com/efe/english/destacada/the-black-woman-with-a-stutter-who-changed-course-of-portugal-s-history/50000261-4083899 I have no comment on her specific politics, and I don’t speak Portuguese so I have no idea what she is saying here, but you can feel her courage from a speech standpoint!! She’s fantastic. It’s also further proof that the vast majority of people will sit there and listen respectfully if we hang in there and say what we have to say. Even a severe stutter doesn’t have to stop us. She earned a PhD and is apparently having a big impact on Portuguese politics. Why, because she decided she was going to speak her mind and pursue her dreams, regardless of whether the words come out quickly or slowly. Mike
