I think we need to be careful about presenting "70% of stutterers are suicidal" as fact. This originates from a study of 140 people on suicidial ideation and is very unlikely to be representative. Women obviously do date men that stutter. This is evidenced by a chunk of this community having wives and girlfriends. There are a subset of people here who already seem to write themselves off. They have no future, no dating opportunities etc etc. I genuinely disagree. I was a severe introvert who stayed home all the time and never touched a phone. Blocks would last 10-15 seconds. I would be constantly out of breath talking. I did a lot of therapy, I put myself out there. My career and family life are now going well. In my experience, finding that self worth, keeping my head eye, faking it till I made it open doors and greatly improved my quality of life. Everyone is different. I just really struggle when I see a thread from someone saying their stutter prevents them from dating and they haven't done any form of therapy. It's like complaining about toothache and not going to the dentist. There are some people that are doing nothing to help themselves and I completely get why. I spent years depressed, literally unable to take that step. But instead of recognising that help exists, it is the worlds fault or a womans fault. This is where some stray into incel territory.
