I had something similar in primary school Some tactics I used: - move your hands while you talk, so that you can't think as fast - practice reading aloud *slowly* (you can do it alone, to your pets, or in front of friends) (this one requires daily practice) - keep your breathing in mind as you speak. It'll allow your mind to not think as fast When I talk too fast my friends would also remind me so I don't get carried away. What worked for me may not be suitable for you, but I hope this helps!
