Hearing other people stutter

Hearing other people stutter As a stutterer, it boils my blood when I hear someone stutter. Does anybody know why? When I was younger, my parents would make me watch with them talent shows where the performer had I stutter and I would physically cringe. I never knew why. In this subreddit, I came across a video of someone speaking with a stutter and I couldn’t bring myself to watch it.
