Yes. For me it's important to always have a way out to communicate what I want to say for example, confidence, an affirmation or writing it down if nothing else works. Imagine I stuttered but got my message accross. I can then say that I reached my goal. The upside is that I won't feel bad the whole day anymore. If I know that I have an alternative way to communicate at hand this in turn is what keeps me calm. Also, being calm reduces stuttering.
