Well, my suggestions: • neurologist (maybe!) (he might be able to help you deal with stuttering. Im trying out his prescribed pills for 5 days only... ) •therapist (to find the cause of this) I also have stuttering and about a year ago I thought that I could challenge myself and go to an weekend long camp to practice English (not my native). And I told my therapist that I'm not sure about this as I am 100% sure that I will stutter and fail in front of everybody. She told me that maybe I should not go as it might be a "too harsh experience". So I did not go. She gave me this example: imagine a person who has once almost drowned and now is terrified of water. To get that person to again feel comfortable in water, there are basically 2 ways. 1) drop him in and hope that he will swim 2) take small steps, like, start with small pool, then a bit deeper one. So he can get used to the water again. I personally like the 2nd approach better. What I'm saying is you should find a way how to practice talking. I was thinking some sort of "meeting group or something ". I'm looking for something like that myself, but don't like the idea of a large group. I like the idea of 1-1. No idea where to find the option for that.
