Yeah, that's pretty much the same for me. I never really talk about my stutter with my friends. Even strangers I am forced to speak to (like waiters), they seem to understand pretty much (even if there's still the weird look, but I'm used to it now lmao) I feel like it's more to "forget" it and not consider it as a problem in my life. When I was in 6th grade, I met a girl. When I first talked to her and severely stuttered, she didn't say anything. I was so happy... idk how to explain I never talked about my stutter with her, and she became one of my most precious friends. Ofc there's some cases when I say it. Like my teachers at the beginning of the year, or people who laugh at it. But with my close ones, it's not a topic, and I appreciate it
