I have that too, I can't say my name. I fix that by not saying my name outright, I don't say "Lee", I say "my name is lee" or "the names Lee". That's all a personal thing and what works with each person. I'm sorry your having a hard time, I want to say it will get better, but I won't lie to you. What is getting better is the understanding of it by those who do not suffer from it. Most of those people who you try so hard to not stutter in front of and feel the need to have a card to show them, know what the condition is and will not judge you any differently by taking a while to say your name. In fact, by working through it and actually saying it, they may even respect you more. But, again, that's personal experience and I can't speak for yours. Good luck, my friend. I wish you the very best. Never let anybody say your voice is not valuable.
