Don't be cruel. Maybe she felt people on this post would be able to empathize better because having a stutter does contribute to low self-esteem and feelings of worthlessness in many (though not all) people, especially during youth. And she probably has a feeling of shared community among people who stutter, since we go through so many of the same experiences.
