I absolutely assumed that was the core of OP’s discomfort. Perhaps I should correct ableism to internalized ableism. I’m more so responding to the hurtful language OP chose for a post in a stuttering support group. This subreddit has many users that feel so hopeless and limited in life because they believe this is how everyone perceives them. Saying everyone else probably “would wanna die on the spot” listening to us speak, is fuelling those fires of self hatred.
