I'll try and stick with it and practice but they said I'll know if I don't like it or suit it in the first week of training. I try that sometimes and other techniques but they don't always work. Also, since it's emergency services, there is a script on screen I'll have to read and follow and it'll tell me what to say. Talking slower helps to not stutter but it can still happen. If I do stutter too much, I'll take a 3-second break and breath and try again. It used to work 100% of the time but not anymore. Prolonging the sound can help too but I forget to do it most of the time and it sounds weird.
