I had gone to speech therapy a while back before COVID but stopped because my stutter barely came out during our sessions and they didn’t think I would benefit much from the speech exercises. But they recommended I go do more activities that encourage me to speak in front of people so I took improv classes, speech-giving classes, etc. to help overcome the social anxiety/nervousness aspect of stuttering. Also at work it helped to preface that I stutter and that helped ease whatever nerves I had about it! But also I’ll add a caveat that mine is pretty mild compared to others so would definitely still recommend speech therapy
