Doing a Zoom presentation my freshman year of college to a class of about 100 people? I came in so confident, only to realize I couldn’t get a word out due to my blocks. So, I sat there for 30 minutes, blocking on almost every sentence just to finish. Afterwards, my professor emailed me, apologizing for making me present and asking if I needed any accommodations. Honestly, as soon as I finished, I closed my laptop and started crying. I had never felt so vulnerable and incapable in my life.
