I wouldn't expect this behaviour from anyone 18+, the other side lol, gooooood luck. In terms of your question, I can promise that most people don't mind, unless the stuttering makes you quieter which might make the transaction much longer and more difficult. Just keep the same pitch and get to the end goal however long it takes, it's fine.
