How do you get through job interviews? What accommodations do you use? In interviews, you are supposed to form the best impression of your skills/abilities so that they know you're competent enough. In times like this, even if they are ok with you having a stutter, you still have to communicate all your information across during that time otherwise they will assume you don't have the knowledge. So how do you do it? I once told an interviewer beforehand, " is it ok if I use a keyboard to type out my answers whenever I stutter ", and they didn't say anything. They accepted my stutter and carried on as usual. It was almost like they didn't want me to use the keyboard or thought my request was ridiculous. I tried this with another interviewer and they said " Hey its ok if you stutter! ", but ignored my request for a keyboard.
