My son is a stutterer and in high school. He doesn’t talk like others and he is well aware of that. He also doesn’t truly care what others think. He found a small group of friends who he is very close with. He aspires to be a neurosurgeon (perfect fit as stuttering is a neurological disorder). My son is an extremely high achiever and has an amazing discipline. I truly think he was compensated in other areas. Please find what you are good at and excel at that. If you are good at your craft, no one will care if you stutter. He tells his teachers in the beginning of each year that he stutters and all of them have been very supportive.
