Anybody have their boss get mad at you because you’re stuttering??

Anybody have their boss get mad at you because you’re stuttering?? I’m still “wowing” over this. Worked for block buster cause of I’m old and had to call people to remind them of their late movies so already a bad situation. So me the stuttering joke on the phone to everybody I’m calling “hello is Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrryan there” only to get a snicker response of “who is this!?!?!??” And I’d usually just Hang up because …. Like fuck. So my boss was watching me cold call and stutter and hang up on people with a wide eyed “wtf” look on his face. He goes into the office to call I guess corporate and I could here his fucking conversation “ya we had hired on dan because he said he had customer experience but his phone etiquette needs improving…. Yes…. Yes stammering… yes ” then slowly closes the door. This post might have gotten away on me but Christ sorry you hired me.
