You must realize that stuttering is caused from tension you create from trying not to stutter. It’s cruel because stuttering is just trying not to stutter. Once you accept this and quit trying to “not stutter” you will speak with less tension and the words will come more easily. Hiding from it feels better but actually makes it worse. Talk openly about it. When you put it out in the open it takes the pressure of hiding it off you and also let’s listeners that you are working through your stutter. If stutterers told one person a day they stuttered pretty soon it would become so easy to tell people you wouldn’t stutter at all. The thought of telling people sounds horrible I know but it’s the way. Good luck man stay strong. Your stutter doesn’t define you. It’s just an obstacle and your daily grind your work in progress.
