In my case I barely stutter when I'm talking to someone who I'm very attached to. But I stutter a lot when I'm excited, nervous or ashamed (whoever I'm talking to) So I just try to stay calm, and not give so much attention to my speech itself. Also I know which are my more problematics words, so whenever I know I have to say some word of that kind, I try to avoid it, of courses this is not always possible. For example: Instead of say "Telephone", I say "Phone". Have good day :)
