Couple things: firstly i get a lot more leniency in school, especially with regards to oral presentations and specifically in English class. For example I don't have to read anything out loud which (not the intention but a positive side effect) allows me to zone out at times. Also I'm sure that it will help with college applications. Not exactly the "I stutter" part of it, but using that to develop a story and say "I stutter, and because of that I volunteer my time at my local NSA chapter to help younger kids who also stutter, and I do Debate even though I stutter, and my life's goal is to make a cure to stuttering" would look good. And as others have said, I think it genuinely makes me a more compassionate and kind human being who is willing to look past other's imperfections. Oh one more cool thing I realized is it makes it very easy to see who is worth being friends with. It's quite simple: if they have a negative reaction to my stutter then they're probably not the best of people.
