veteran of 7 years army, look bud i’ve had a stammer stutter since I was a little kid. couldn’t say a damn fluent sentence for as long back as I can remember. I went in the army scared shitless that imma be made fun of and kicked out for my speech. I didn’t want to be bullied or ragged on for that shit. but you know what was the greatest realization, meeting and being lead by sergeants who had stutters as well. kinda gave me that confidence to do all I can do fluent or not. I had major screw up moments tho but who can stop those. one time i was in afghanistan on a patrol and I couldn’t rely back some observations. it was the most embarrassing depressing day of my life. but fuck it, shits amazing and you’ll do great if you go in there with a shit load of confidence and humility.
