Even though I am only 17 rn and haven't truly started to date yet. Out of the few "girlfriends"/"Lady Friends" I've had in the past I can only recall 3 that have brought up my stutter in a negative/positive way. Up until a few weeks ago, I've never actually disclosed fully about my stuttering disorder, despite people probably knowing that's what's going on. I've never truly stated the full extent to how bad it is to them. They've only "caught on", I think the real challenge with dating, for people with this disorder is actually going up to a person to converse.
