>*"Whenever our nervous system and brain predicts that the probability of regulating them positively is low, it actives the blocking mechanism in order to prevent our next movement. We freeze."* I agree with everything you said. The conditioned stimulus = "Predicting/anticipating that the probability is low of regulating the emotional state positively" The question is then, why do we believe that this anticipating or prediction bad? It's likely because this prediction or anticipation leads to fear of social rejection (i.e., fear of external validation) -that is that unconditioned stimulus, right? So in a model it would be: Unconditioned stimulus > conditioned stimulus > freezing or Fear of social rejection > for example: predicting lower probabiliy of something, the need to to predict a higher probability, the need to increase one's mental tolerance of a low probability etc etc > freezing Would you agree with this?
