This kind of attitude infuriated me for so long in my life, and even now in my 30s. The way (some) people blatantly head down or start scrolling on their cellphone when you start to stutter, I feel so disrespected. It's like the information that I'm communicating immediately becomes discredited and worthless. This is hurtful. Even nowadays.
