Thankfully I had good friends growing up that were understanding, empathetic, and didn't give af, but i've had coworkers that were assholes. My advice, grow confidence in yourself as an individual and not how others view you, (I grew up around racists so that comes natural to me, I know it's hard though). Truly explore your interests and find your strengths. ACTUALLY USE the techniques that help you and not let anxiety and fear get in the way. Finally, just relax I was mad insecure in school cause of my stutter too , but it's all temporary. Focus on improving yourself and Fuck anyone that don't like you. IDK how else to say it. Confront them if you must I wish I did.
