Have some questions about experiences with stuttering

Have some questions about experiences with stuttering I don't have a stutter, but I'm curious to learn more about individual experiences around it. I have some particular questions that anyone may answer. I've browsed the internet, but it fails to totally answer my questions... I'm curious about individual experiences rather than hard facts. I read some posts here, and there are a lot of personal narratives about people's misunderstanding of stutters. When did you start stuttering and how did you realize it? Did you notice yourself, did a parent notice, did your teacher notice, did kids make fun of you? What environments are you more likely to stutter in (home, school, work)? Do you stutter as much around your parents and/or friends as in class or giving a presentation? Do you stutter only in stressful situations or in all situations? Did you go to speech therapy and was that effective? What do you do/learn in speech therapy? Does alcohol (or other drugs) affect your stutter? (Sorry if this is offensive, someone mentioned alcohol earlier and I was curious.)
