Stuttering is cyclical. There was a person who stutters who came to regular support group meetings like 25-years ago. Got married, had a family and stopped coming to meetings because his stuttering was under control. One month we had our meeting and this guy walks in. All the old timers of the group were in shock because they had not seen him for 25+ years. The guy said that both his kids moved out of the house, he retired and for some reason his old stuttering came back so he decided to start coming to meetings again!
