I suffer from the same thing. There are days where I want to rip my tongue out of my mouth and take a vow of silence FOREVER. However, we should think about our condition with a different perspective: A significant portion of all people who are capable of speaking have never reflected on the quality of their voice. Their speech is filled with stutters, back tracking, filler words, monotamous pitch and unnatural pauses. An example of these characteristics would be anytime one of your peers had to to present, read out loud or discuss within a group during your school years. We have never had the blessing of speaking our minds whenever we felt inspired to express a thought. Where others felt motivation, we felt dread and anxiety before having to speak. This is not a curse. Our difficulty speaking has allowed us to become more self aware of ourselves and the environment surrounding us. We have become proficient at examining our strengths and weaknesses than others due to the isolation of not being able to connect with others. WE have the opportunity to become better speakers than 99% of people because by not being able to speak correctly, we will can only learn how to speak in the CORRECT manner. Because who in their right minds tries to learn how to speak when they already knows how to speak? Stay safe.
