Well, stutter variance applies in all sorts of ways (except when it doesn't, but that's within the variance, so to say). It's just a bummer that you have to flip into red to increase fluency... Did you ever try some form of therapy? Doesn't necessarily have to be speech therapy specifically, I reckon.
