Bilingual

Bilingual My fiancé and her family are from Puerto Rico - her baby sister is visiting us here in NYC for a few weeks. My future sister-in-law stutters (my fiancé told me she had a slight stutter when she was a kid but grew out of it but her sister has more severe stutter). While, staying with us - I've been speaking my sister in law only English (I'm Polish-American) so that she can learn English. Interestingly, she stutter A LOT less when she speaks in English than in her native Spanish. Just out of curiosity - for those who are bilingual - do you also stutter less when speaking in your non-native language?
