I think time pressure is actually one of the biggest causes for stuttering because now even though my stuttering is significantly less, when I still do stutter it is almost always because I tried saying something a bit too quickly for my pace which results in stuttering. So I totally get you, take it at your own pace and its okay to not overcome something in a short period these things sometimes take a long time. But just another small piece of advice (not sure if it would help ) what also helped my stutter is in some way being proud of it (I don't know how to word it properly) but like when I stutter while talking to somebody I just tell them straight on 'oh I had a stutter and it still comes out from time to time', like in some way I feel proud of the progress that I made and I want to share that with people, so that has helped me enormously as it removed some of that embarrassment around stuttering.
