Very nicely written, I used to be like that for 7 years, then my stuttering gotten worse and I was basically forced to reveal my problem to others because I was unable to hide it anymore. I made myself dumb because I refused to say the words I would stutter on. One time I also made up a false story because telling the truth would require saying a word I couldn't pronounce at all. I hated myself because of that. I can say now that at least for me, being a covert stutterer is the worst thing you can do.
