I won’t be accepting these comments either. >”You’re scared to have an actual conversation in person because you can’t even talk” Do you not hear yourself right now……like, genuinely. OF COURSE IF YOU CAN BARELY TALK, YOU’RE GOING TO BE SCARED! Someone making fun of you, mocking you, yelling at you to spit it out, accusing you that you’re on drugs, will think you have a mental disorder, and other endless possibilities. And like you said…THEY CAN’T TALK! It’s going to be a scary experience! I’m just going to assume you’re a non-stutterer who had the luxury of fluent speaking their entire life, and I don’t care about “I had a stutter since I was 3 years old!” Etc etc, I’ll still stick with my beliefs because you obviously don’t understand. I’m saying this because 50% of this subreddit when posting about “cures”, they’re spreading already harmful misinformation that gives the stuttering community an already bad look. It ISN’T mental. It’s NOT an easy disorder to get rid of, if you can. No, it ISN’T in the head. It ISN’T just us. How about you actually go do some research about stuttering, then come back and call us “pathetic and negative”
