I completely relate. I think many of us fear and dread interviews, and it can certainly hold us back from reaching our full potential. However, as hard as it might be...I truly pray that you will find the inner strength and fortitude to dig deep and take that step. It will give you so much confidence and allow you to be so much happier and more content. Being stuck in a job you hate can have such a negative effect on your life...it’s awful. Just from personal experience, I was/am petrified of interviews and was so depressed wondering what I was going to do with my life. That was ten years ago, now I am a Vice President at a global investment bank and make well into the six figures and am the one conducting the interviews now. Not bragging at all, just trying to show that once you take that initial step, everything will fall into place. Your confidence will build, but you need to step out of your comfort zone.
