I'm a software developer. Stuttering didn't affect my career that much when I was working at local companies and talking in my native language. I started to feel really depressed when I received emails from recruiters over the world to discuss career opportunities with their companies. I replied to one company I want to work for and we scheduled a call over Skype. I think it was the worst 40 minutes of my life. I'm trying to ignore every email I received from recruiters since that meeting.
