I have brought out this same topic in many past stutter message boards!!! We could be responsible for someone living or dying...imagine if a totally severe stutter person had to call 911 for someone choking or drowning....and there was no one else to around......and the extreme stutterer had to call 911........it's scary to think you might be the cause of the person's death because you couldn't speak to 911........you would never be able to live with yourself......and youd probably be thrown in prison because you helped cause their death......
