Been in a new job since October. The team is new to my company so we are all learning everything from scratch. I am at the space where I am not as confused but also far from knowing everything. This “grey” area just makes me ramble all the time and makes me not feel confident in what I am saying, which encourages the stuttering. I know enough to be dangerous, as the saying goes. Yesterday was really bad. Very inarticulate. I have my first review in a few weeks so I’ll know then if my communication skills are going to set me back. I did tell my boss that I stutter during my interview. Other than that, I am rocking the job and think it’s a perfect fit. I am 47 and can see myself doing this job until I retire.
