Does anybody have trouble saying their name? So as a kid, like many of the posters I've read about on this subreddit, I used to have a severe stutter. After going to speech therapy a few times and just learning to control my stuttering on my own, my stuttering has gotten much better. However, I'm in my mid-twenties now and have found that I have a real problem saying my name for the first time when I meet people. There have been a few instances at work over the last year and a half where I had to introduce myself to people but could not get my name out to save my life. Does anybody else have this problem and if so have you found any useful techniques to deal with it?
