I don't think it's offensive necessarily, but it is entirely worthless and a waste of time. There is NO WAY you could learn what it is like to live with a stutter by pretending to have one for such a short amount of time. I agree with the comment above, your time would be much better spent interviewing and/or shadowing a person who actually stutters.
