Hi, I have the same problem. My name starts with the Ch sound (like Charles) and I always have the worse block, my last name starts with H, and the H phoneme is the worst for me so I always struggle introducing myself. What’s worse is I am a sped teacher so when ever I run IEP meetings I always try my best to avoid introducing myself, for example all IEP meetings generally start off with introductions, so what I do is I’ll start off by saying something like “okay can we go around and introduce ourselves” and when it gets to me (bc I go last) I’ll just say “alright and we’ve been in contact plenty of times before” because usually introductions are for the parents, I have mastered ways of evading certian words phrases and sounds, But you’re not alone and it’s okay! There’s been times where I’ve stuttered and I’ve just said straight up “I apologize, I stutter but it usually isn’t this bad” and kinda make it a joke. That way the people I’m communicating with atleast know.
