More annoying for me is how, on occasion I just can speak very very clearly in social interactions. No problems with word retrieval at all, no tension. At those times it's like something switched in my brain, that I can't explain. Privately though, I am a modern Shakespeare. Following on your assessment, it enforces the explanation I had of my social anxiety causing it or at least being a major contributor. Which makes me very hopeful. . But sometimes I don't even feel social anxiety but still don't speak well. And I don't stutter.
