Hi! I juuuuust stumbled across this sub, very interested to read up. I don't stutter, but my brother has a severe stutter. No one can understand him except my family and people after they've been around him for a bit. Personally, I hardly notice stutters anymore because my brother has made me excellent at understanding people who talk differently in general (stutters, kids, mumblers, etc). So just know that there are lots of people who not only don't let it define you, but also don't even notice! Your voice should definitely still be heard!
