Advertising your stutter could help you to desensitize yourself and accept your stutter. Try telling people you stutter, like when you go to order a coffee or food. You could say something like "Hi, I stutter so I appreciate your patience". Acknowledging your stutter in front of someone will help to increase your confidence, as it takes a bit of the fear out of stuttering.
